I am a weirdo (and tian)

currently in sch, tryin to go research on europe
cos SIA airfares increased on 1st April.
To make it clearer, flight industries always follow one another.
SIA is one of the key players!! (To tian who din noeeee!!)
while researchin, i always ended up... seein tian aslp
and me in another world, imagining.. blah blah blah.

It's GOOD FRIDAY, and becos I am a christian,
I din noe anything abt Qingming Jie, 清明节.

Ytd I was studyin with a friend whom I just got to know recently.

Here is the conversation.

N: Are you gg to the cemetery on sat?
Me: What cemetery? U going?
N: Ya, some of my chinese friends are gg, r u?
Me: What event is that? Y are all of u gg? Is it written on student portal?
(I tot some VIP is dead and is a must to pay respect?)
(and I continue to ask....) Whose dead?
N: Ermm....

I felt really awkward and made a fool of myself despite being a chinese. I guess she doesn't know much abt this 'festive' because she wasn't a local nor a Chinese.

Plus... I only got to know this Tomb Sweeping Day thru facebook when someone commented abt it.

(And tian is glaring at me sleepily-- thats y we are both useless!!!)
